Complete your Staying Well Healthy Actions for 2023
If you have outstanding healthy actions through Cigna’s MotivateMe platform, you can complete and redeem actions incurred through December 31, 2023. These actions can earn you gift cards, and all actions must be redeemed by March 30, 2024. After March 30, 2024, all awards will be forfeited.
Use your health care FSA dollars and submit your claims
If you’ve contributed to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Limited Purpose FSA in 2023, did you know you can carry over 2023 funds for use in 2024? Heading into 2024, you can use $610 from your 2023 balance for qualified health care expenses in 2024, allowing you to stretch your health care dollars further.
Consider how you can spend your funds to take full advantage of your tax savings:
- For Limited Purpose FSA participants: You can use your balance for qualified dental and vision care expenses, including things like fillings, X-rays, braces, eyeglasses, contacts, and even LASIK surgery.
- For Health Care FSA participants: You can use your FSA dollars for qualified health care expenses such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance for medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision care, so now is a great time to schedule any health appointments.
In addition to care expenses, you can also use your funds on Health Care FSA-approved products, such as first aid supplies, over the counter medicines like aspirin or allergy treatments, sunscreen, and even feminine hygiene products! Review the list of eligible expenses here.
Remember! You need to submit all 2023 claims for reimbursement by March 31, 2024.
