Overview
AXA XL offers two dental plan options through MetLife: the Basic Plan and the Premium Plan. Both plans use the MetLife PDP Plus network of providers. Remember, the amount you pay for services depends on the type of provider you use. Visit https://online.metlife.com to locate in-network providers.
Use your FSA to pay for dental expenses
If you have a Health Care FSA or a Limited Purpose FSA, you can use them to help you cover your out-of-pocket dental expenses like orthodontia, bridges, crowns, fillings and more! Keep in mind, cosmetic dental procedures, such as dental veneers, bonding and teeth whitening aren’t eligible expenses.
If you receive dental care and want to use your Inspira Financial debit card, wait until your insurance provider pays their portion and sends you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing the amount you owe. Then use your card to make the payment.
For more information about the FSAs, review the Savings and Spending Accounts section.
