Commuter benefits

PayFlex is now Inspira Financial

PayFlex has changed their name to Inspira Financial. Here's what you need to know about using your commuter benefits with Inspira Financial:

  • You'll still use the same phone number for customer service.
  • To submit claims and review your balance, you'll go to inspirafinancial.com and use the same login credentials you used on the PayFlex website.
  • You can continue using your current PayFlex card, and there will be no interruptions to accessing your account funds.

If you commute to work or pay for parking, consider using the Inspira Financial commuter benefit.

You can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified transit and parking expenses. In 2024, the transit monthly pre-tax limit is $315, and the parking monthly pre-tax limit is $315. If your transit or parking costs exceed these limits, you can set aside unlimited after-tax deductions to cover the difference. Your transit or parking costs will be paid through payroll deductions.

Transit

When you purchase your transit pass online, you’ll receive it directly at your home address. Be sure to think ahead when you’re planning your commute. When you enroll and purchase a pass by the first of the month, it will be mailed by the 23rd of that month. For example, if you’d like to receive your transit pass by May 1, you’ll need to enroll and purchase it on April 1. You also have the option to enroll in a MasterCard Commuter Check Card that you can use to make transit payments.

Parking

The monthly parking payment will be mailed directly to the specified parking location that you select. In most cases, Inspira Financial will be able to pay your parking vendor directly. If this isn’t possible, you’ll be able to submit a claim form to Inspira Financial and receive reimbursement.

How to enroll

Enroll on the www.payflex.com.

Legal services

Quality legal assistance can be expensive, but MetLife Legal Plans give you access to a network of expert attorneys at an affordable price ($9.38 per semi-monthly payroll deduction). This benefit provides the guidance and tools you need to handle the broad range of personal legal concerns you face throughout your life; like buying or selling a home, starting a family, dealing with identity theft or caring for aging parents. You can enroll in this coverage during the Annual Benefits Enrollment period or as a new hire through myHR.
