If you’re facing a mental health challenge, you’re not alone. Even if everything feels manageable at the moment, what you do now to take care of yourself can have an impact in how you navigate mental health issues later if they do arise.
Mental health care is a form of self-care that can help you both in times of need and when navigating everyday stresses. Building and developing your resilience – even in the absence of an immediate stressor or challenge – can do wonders for your long-term overall well-being.
If you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis and needs immediate support, you can call or text the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 for 24/7, free, confidential help. Trained counselors are available to listen, understand, provide support, and recommend further resources if necessary.
At AXA XL, we offer many ways to access mental health care so that you can find care that matches your needs and preferences. Interested in seeking mental health support? Make it easy for yourself by choosing an access method that works for your everyday life. In doing so, you’ll be equipped to tackle challenges as they come your way. Support is available through:
